Headlines: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Marry in Bahamas

In a stunning turn of events, 27-year-old singer and actor Nick Cannon married 38-year-old artist Mariah Carey last Wednesday (April 30) in the Bahamas. The music world is buzzing about this new power couple. Mariah and Nick first met on March 26 on the Carribean set of her new video, "Bye Bye." In the music vid, Nick plays Mariah's lover. I guess this is one of those cases where life has imitated art!! The romance was a whirlwind one, according to friends.

It's a good time to be Mariah. Not only is she at the top of her professional game, with a #1 album (E = MC2), "Touch My Body" hitting the top of the charts, and the record for highest number of #1 Billboard hits, but she's got the love and affection of a talented young hottie like Nick.
