Falling In Love Again...

SO, its been a minute, but a lot has happened.... without getting into too many details, i've been getting a really amazing response and we've had to change our plans a bit...FYI, this is a good thing :)

I played a show in Fresno yesterday and stopped by POWER 106.3 before heading back to hollyhood... did i mention it was 104 degrees and that my show was outside, oh yeah, i damn near melted. for real people, have you seen me? I'm like WHITE white...paper white. so, I don't really do heat or sun, much less the combo of both. needless to say, i got a tan. (P.S. a rory tan = egg shell as opposed to my normal shade of paper white...i mean i'm pretty sure i still glow in the dark but it's tan for me!) The station was coo though, major shout outs to all my girlies at power :) see ya'll on the 28th for dating on demand - if you dont know, i'll be back in fresno to sing at the launch of Dating on Demand....and i'm sidetracking.

...long story short - life is good and its safe to say i'm falling in la la la love again :) Just as I was getting all caught up in shows n touring, I've been brought back to my roots, like an ex you just can't quit. ya'll know what im talking about!...It's official, sorry Milton, but my heart belongs to making music. (if you don't know who Milton is, you need to check out the RORY STORY and watch the first 3 episodes, in order) I'm revisiting some older cuts, starting new ones and yes music and I are getting back together, so stay tuned for this one, i think it could be serious...which sorta leads into my next topic....

so I'm back in the studio, working on a track with a guy most of you prolly know- he's not really into flashy girls, thinks they need to stop- and he said something today that made me gag a little. i'm not totally sure how we got on the topic but we were talking about the fame game and how it changes people. how one has to censor themselves a little bit more because its harder to trust people....its sort of like the higher you climb the smaller the party gets... and all i could think about was my guest list. It's not super long, but its certainly exclusive. Man, I'm just really proud to have people like Sarah and John and Jessika and Easton (and the list goes on) in my life. Not only are all these people EXTREMELY talented but they're also kind and loyal and funny as hell...basically, I'm blessed to have the friends that I have and I'm pretty sure that no matter how small my party gets i'll always be able to throw down with breezy n bobo. just check out our most recent pics:
